Thoughts while I run through this quarantine 🦠
People are cooking and doing laundry more. I smell it and it’s glorious!
👉🏽At first, like the first week, people were out smiling and waving. Typical for us Michigan folks. But now, ppl are just mad or sad and haven’t been as upbeat. Understandably so. I wave and smile regardless. #smilingissunnah
👉🏽 I can’t go out as early as I’d like since I’m staying up late. Then have to fed kids, and situate them before I leave on my run. And that’s ok. There’s no perfect time during this national crisis. I’ll take what I can get.
👉🏽 I don’t run everyday for several reasons. Don’t feel like it, don’t want to, it’s not my only stress reliever. Lately I’ve been enjoying some zone 2-3 bike rides with hubby. And it’s SO relaxing. Great bonding time.
👉🏽 not everyone moves out of their way on the sidewalk. So I assume they won’t and move. If I c anyone approaching to maintain 6ft. It’s not always pretty but it’s a must.
👉🏽 I haven’t been able to run more then 50 mins yet. Due to life, or kids, or just plain don’t want to. That’s ok. I’m doing what is best for me. Taking it day by day. One day ill crave a speed session. One day, I’ll want a jog w walk breaks. It’s ALL GOOD.
Been using this time to do a lot of self reflection, baking, Quran reading, and listening to various online lectures.
one duaa/prayer I read constantly is:
